Welcome to the Holy Spirit Parish Library web page! We are excited to be able to offer you a small but mighty collection of faith-building books by Catholic authors about Catholicism. We have items for parishioners of all ages – from the very youngest on up – and we hope that you will use this collection to nurture your faith development!
The library is open during regular office hours. You are free to enter the library to browse, read or check out items! Instructions on how to check out items can be found on the library desk.
All library materials can be found in the Holy Spirit Parish Library On-line Catalog. You can search by entering a title, author or subject in the search bar, or by clicking on any of the shelf location headings listed below the scrolling books on the home page of the catalog. Once you do so, you will be taken to a list results page, and there you will be able to see the status of your item: available or checked out. Clicking on the title of the item will take you to the item record, which will also include the call number (location) of the item as well as a brief description.
We are happy to accept donations for the library. All donated items must meet both our Collection Development and Donation Policy. We encourage you to leave your name and contact information with any items that you donate so that we may contact you if needed.
HS Birthday Book Club!
Would you like to make a gift to the library in a special child’s name? Then why not consider the Holy Spirit Birthday Book Club (BBC)! By selecting a book and making a one-time donation, you encourage Catholic literacy in your young recipient while at the same time helping to develop the library’s children’s collection! You and your recipient will be invited to a special presentation ceremony following Mass, and your donated book will sport a donation plate bearing the child’s name.
